Late filing is never just a late fee.
Late fee every day
Up to ₹50 a day for a GSTR-3B with tax (₹20 for a nil return), with turnover-based caps.
18% interest
Interest runs on tax paid late, from the day after the due date until you pay.
Your buyers lose credit
If your GSTR-1 is late, your customers don’t see the invoices in their GSTR-2B — and they start asking questions.

Common questions
Who can choose QRMP?
Regular taxpayers with aggregate turnover up to ₹5 crore can file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B quarterly, while paying tax monthly through PMT-06.
Is the QRMP GSTR-3B date the 22nd or the 24th for me?
It depends on the state of your principal place of business: Category X states file by the 22nd, Category Y states by the 24th.
Do I need to file if I had no sales?
Yes. A nil return is still required, and missing it attracts a late fee.
Can AiHisab file my returns?
AiHisab prepares GSTR-1, works out GSTR-3B and the challan, generates IRN and e-way bills, and checks your data before filing. Book a demo to see the full returns desk.
